Apple officially stopped the iTunes service after almost 2 decades

Apple will remove the iTunes app and replace it with the Music, TV, and standalone Podcast apps.

Customers who use Apple’s product ecosystem are too familiar with iTunes, the online music and entertainment services of this “giant”. In the latest event, however, Apple has officially announced that it will abandon the old service for nearly 2 decades.

The current features of iTunes on the MAC computer will be segregated into 3 separate applications namely Apple Music, podcasts and TV, similar to those on the iPhone with a separate subscription. This strategy helps apples promote the service array, increase the amount of customers to register for paid services.

Also in this new event, Apple introduced a new account login feature, similar to the current social login, but has a high level of security when not providing user information to third parties.
